ABOUT IFÁ

Ifá is a spiritual system rooted in the Yoruba people of Nigeria. Ifa is a spiritual system based in good character, respect for humanity, and honoring nature. The Ifá corpus is Odu Ifá, the sacred text that contain the word of Olodumare. Ifá was revealed to Orunmila, the first priest of Ifá and the progenitor of all priest of Ifa. The sacred keepers of the text, rites, and rituals of Ifa are known as Babalawos or Iyanifas.

Ifá is practiced throughout the Americas, West Africa, and other regions of the world. Baba Fabolasi’s mission is one of healing, growth, and maturation through the sacred practices of Ifá and Orisa.
